I applied early so I was able to get in quickly. I got in based on GPA and definitely not test scores because they sucked.
Biology
It is extremely easy to get into FSU if you are instate. Just get a 3.0 and a 1100. You could write an essay to make it easier. If you join any clubs or sports, you are guaranteed in. Also, the Honors programs is a bit misleading. The only benefit of it is to get Early Registration. And for research if you want Honors in the Major, which is easy to get into if you have decent grades.
Biology
Good grades in high school and above average SAT.

Sent a good resume showing that I had done extra-curricular activites in Highschool. I also worked hard to get good grades because there is competition to get in. I recomment not slacking off senior year and do some extra stuff along the way, colleges like that.

I had about a 3.5 in High School and 1200 on the reading/math SAT (I only took them once). I'm not sure if it still is like this, but the essays were optional on the application when I applied; I didn't do them and still got in. I wouldn't recommend that though; if I was to do it all again I would have sent in essays to be safe.
Chemistry
Anybody can get in. If that cowgirl can make it, anybody can. Most of them freshman drop out. And all those damn hicks only go to FSEW (A.K.A For Stupid Undergrads) for the football team and they are terrible. If you dont have team spirit they will threaten you with violence. I hate all those damn people and I hope they burn in hell. If we keep having colleges like this in our country we will never get rid of presidents like George Bush.
Civil Engineering
FSU competes with UF for the best students in Florida but getting in is not as hard if you have done your homework in High School. Study hard.

get good grades, you're also better off going to ucf or a better out of state school if you can get into them and afford it
