I was rejected applying as a HS senior. Matter fact, nobody from my graduating class was admitted into Syracuse. (And we're talking about 9 applicants including myself) It was my dream school but since everyone that applied from my school did not get in I didn't feel as bad. I instead went to a community college and worked my butte off at that community college. I was determined to give it a second try. I maintained a really high GPA, did alot of community service and applied again. I was given the chance this time to attend. Looking back at it, I realize that I personally did not have the SAT score to gain admission. I strongly recommend pulling the best grades possible and getting your SAT score as high as possible.

Be wicked smart and Push. Try as hard as you can. Send five recommendations if you have to. Set up an interview. Show them that you can thrive in their school. Show a a lot of passion and interest in the school. Syracuse would rather have bright students who are truly interested in learning and making the most of their time than a bunch of valedictorians without a purpose or direction. have a solid background and Ace your classes. Don't send in crap on your resume. It's Syracuse after all! Be honest, be creative, be genuine. If you're a minority then you'll have a leg up.
Accounting
Do you want to be heavily involved and make a difference in the world? You can. Syracuse is perfect for that. Do you want to get in and out with minimal fuss? You can. Greek? Sure. Independent? Sure. Pre-law/med/business? Yes. Why not? All it takes is hard work, motivation, and passion (the same usual cliche characteristics) to become a part of this vibrant academic community.
Architecture
Make sure your application glows. There should be something about you that ticks, you should posses a reason why the admissions officers should admit you over the thousands of students dying to get in. This is the time to showcase whatever gifts, talents or assets you plan to bring. Good luck.
Architecture
I actually entered in the school of Arts and Sciences as an Art History major and transfered into Architecture after 1 year.

its really easy to get in, just follow directions and you will be fine...unless if you are seriously messed, it shouldn't be hard to get in
Business - Management and Administration
An ACT of 26 or SAT or 1200 will pretty much do the trick. Communications through S.I. Newhouse will require higher scores/grades, but everything else is fairly attainable. Syracuse is almost never a studen't first choice, so many accepted students reject admission, thus leading to many "wait listed" students on the hook praying people reject admission.
Business - Management and Administration
For most colleges in SU, a 1200 SAT, B+/A- average in HS, and extracirricular activities should, more often then not, get you in.
Business - Management and Administration
To get into here I went to a community college for two years. I had a 4.0 for two years in a row there. I wrote a really good college SA too.
Business - Management and Administration
I spent a lot of time on the essays and tailoring them to the college i was interested in. I also didn't tell bullshit stories about being ona team etc. I laid it out cut and dry. I told them what I had to offer and I told them what i was GOING to do there...i let them know I was serious about their school and i promised them an investment in me was an investment in themselves.
